Hi guys!
Thanks to everyone for this beautiful desktop envirnoment! I just want to know if its possible show birthdays of my contacts in the calendar of that Digital Clock widget on the panel? Holidays are shown for my country, but can I add some other events to that calendar? I'm using PCLinuxOS with KDE 4.6.5. |

Try Digital Clock Settings > Calendar. Make sure "Display events" is checked. This will draw information from your Kontact Calendar, including Todo items, etc. so should hopefully include Birthdays as well if this has been implemented.

Thanks for the reply!
I don't have that checkbox in "Calendar" section. Does this widget pull information from some other KDE application? You know, like Kmail pulls contact email addresses from KAddressBook. |

Like I wrote in the first post, I'm on version 4.6.5, not on 4.8.x

In that case, the answer to your question is "No".

You will need to update to a minimum of KDE 4.7.x to recieve this checkbox.
