Sorry not good with links I lost it. If I go to help it tells me the hand book can't be found I get a similar problem with any KDE app is there some generic software missing ?, I also use kontact

This documentation is the same documentation you would have in KHelpCenter if it was available.

Often the offline documentation is not installed by default, so it's worth checking whether a separate docs package exists. Since it seems to affect all KDE applications, that sounds to be a likely explanation.
