After updating to KDE 4.7.4 (Debian-Wheezy) my calendars are empty. Neither can I add a *vcs calendar that worked perfectly before. What's the matter? Of course - as mentioned by somebody already - kde-pim is still at level 4.4.11 on my system. I need my activities and ToDos urgently!!! What can I do?

If you look carefully under ~/.kde4 are the calendar and todo files still present there?

Weird, but I don't have a ".kde4"-directory under my home directory. There is only a ".kde"-directory. What are the names of the kalendar files? Thanks for your help.

I suspect the files should probably be in ~/.kde/share/apps/korganizer. I have the same problem, except it happened rather suddenly. In my case, the files aren't there, but the calendar items DO show up on the pop up calendar when I click on the clock. That makes me suspect the data is still "out there somewhere."

Thanks, my REAL problem is that I cannot add the calendar file (vcs, even converted to ics!) to korganizer. There are dozens of activities in that file. It seems they are now lost!!images/smilies/face-embarrassed.png. This is unacceptable. More people have reported this situation. It
seems to have to do with Debian not upgrading kdepim et al to a version that would be compatible with kde 4.7./4.8. I hope this happens in the near future!!! Regards from Salzburg |

Hello xmanmonk, I have exactly the same experience: clicking on the clock shows all the items. Did you make any progress with this unbearable situation? Greetings Heinrich
