I messed up akonadi (I was trying to add a different source for kjots and everything went to hell, as usual).
Is there a way to reinstall it without reinstalling my whole system? I've already tried renaming every akonadi related folder i could find to see if it would create itself anew on restart; I've already reinstalled every akonadi package from synaptic (kubuntu pangonlin). Thanks in advance. I get the feeling that I've already posted asking for this kind of help in the past, which would not be a surprise given the amount of times I've had to reinstall from scratch because of akonadi (which, btw, I LOVE). |

when I needed to reset Akonadi, this is what I needed to do:
1st stop Akonadi using akonaditray app remove: ~/.config/akonadi/ ~/.local/share/akonadi ~/.kde4/share/config/akonadi* (note: ackonadi_* will not get it all) |

Thanks, but unfortunately it didn't work.
Luckily it has become easier and faster everyday to reinstall your whole system, so I'm writing from a fresh Pangolin, |
