Hello
I'm a KDE user, but I used to work with Icedove and Thunderbird. Now I want to migrate to Kmail. The problem I'm facing is that I can't figure out how to configure the Kmail compositor and viewer to wrap around lines at the window size without adding hard line breaks when the email is sent. If I don't check the checkbox option "break lines", everything I type is on the same line and Kmail composer shows a horizontal scroll bar. If I do check the checkbox option "break lines", when I send the email the email text is filled with hard line breaks. All those hard line breaks makes it impossible for the recipient to reflow the email to read according to her window size. By looking at bugs.kde.org i saw that there are some references to line breaks when quoting, when saving emails as draft and to problems of line breaks widths, but nothing about what I wanted to do. So how can I make Kmail work just like Kate and Kwrite "dynamic word wrap" (they don't insert hard line breaks at the window size, only soft breaks)? Thanks |
