I am trying to move my mail from my laptop, with Mandriva 2011 and kmail 2, to my desktop with Mancriva 2010.2 and kmail 1.13.5. (It's a long, sad story, please don't ask why.) I archived the mail without a problem. I know the archive was good because I was able to import it into another instance of kmail 2. Now I am trying to import the mail into kmail 1.13.5. I cannot even begin, because the option File>Import Messages is not available. It appears in the File menu, but it is "grayed out."
What do I need to make that option available? Thank you. Richard |

Please make sure that "kmailcvt" is installed on your system.

I do not believe it is installed, nor is it offered on the Mandriva repositories. Where might I find this program?
Thank you. Richard |

It is part of kdepim, so if you can use urpmi to search for which package provides "kmailcvt", you should find it.
