Hi everyone,

I was using KDE before as in 2007 I had to change to a more lightweight environment since I had an old pentium machine still (It was with the release of KDE 4.0). Until now I was wanting and missing KDE, this desktop which fits to all my needs and had many helpful features built in besides of being pretty userfriendly at the same time. I got new hardware now and first step I got KDE again, yippieh.

For the record, I'm using debian squeeze with KDE 4.4.5 and my installation is pretty standard (took the kde-full packages). KMail gives the following error message when trying to move or filter mails from an IMAP to its subfolders:

An attempt to delete the specified resource imap://mail%40example.com@imap.example. ... =493224531 failed.
Details of the request:
URL: (unknown)
Date and time: Thursday 31 May 2012 12:27
Additional information: imap://mail%40example.com@imap.example. ... =493224531
Possible causes:
Your access permissions may be inadequate to perform the requested operation on this resource.
The specified resource may not exist.
Possible solutions:
Check your access permissions on this resource.
Ensure that the resource exists, and try again.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems? If so, I'm interested in hearing about it as I'm trying to determine whether my system configuration is bad or this is a problem based in Kontact/KMail
