how to automate mail folder archiving

Thu Jun 28, 2012 11:42 am
Sorry if this is obvious, but I can't seem to find how to do it.

I'd like to archive some kmail folders automatically (via cron job) and I
wonder what the command line would be to archive a folder. I'm
using kmail 4.8.4.

TIA,

For a cronjob I suspect you would need to work with Akonadi directly. Unfortunately I am not aware of any tools which can move folders or emails at that level.

There's an "Archive Mail Agent" in 4.9 but I'm not sure if it does what you want.
