i use Imap in kmail on Xubuntu.
Now i would like to search over all my email folders in all my accounts. the best i found was the advanced search button next to the search inputfield on top of the email list of the current selected folder. but even that advanced search does not search in subfolders. is there a solution in kmail? or just the global KDE-Indexing. and if so, is there a possibility to install that on Xubuntu? |

There is, as far as I can tell. You need to have Nepomuk enabled and email full indexing enabled in the Desktop Search settings panel in System Settings. Notice that indexing is kind of unreliable on any KDE PIM version lesser than 4.8.4.
