Hiya!
I'm running OpenSUSE 12.1 now, which runs KOrganizer 4.7.2.. A few years ago, I had an older version of OpenSUSE, maybe 11.3 or 11.2.. can't remember exactly which it was.. and not sure what version of KOrganizer it had on it too.. but at that time, it was doing something I really liked that I don't seem to be able to do now.. and I'm wondering whether this is a feature that has been removed or not? .. hope my explanation below makes sense! Lets say you open up KOrganizer using "Month view".. on the bottom right hand side, there are some green arrow buttons.. 4 to be exact: - "Go back one month" - "Go back one week" - "Go forward one week" - "Go forward one month" The "month" buttons do as expected.. when you click on them, the calendar (in the main view, not the one in the left panel) changes month by month. However, when I use the "week" buttons, it changes the highlighted month on the mini calendar in the left-side panel, but it doesn't move/scroll the main calendar in the central and main area (i.e. where I have events, etc). In fact, the central calendar doesn't move until I've click, click, clicked into a new week into a new month, so the view changes to show that entire month. In my previous version, I remember I could scroll the main view weekly, rather than "jump" month to month. This meant that I could see half of one month with half of another month.. for example, today is the 25th August and I would like to see what's happening in the next 3 weeks.. unfortunately, to see what's happening on the 8th September, when I scroll, it shows me the entire September month and so I cannot see 25th August at the same time. Logically, I would expect I can, because there is enough space to see this range.. it's just that they happen to fall on different months meaning you cannot scroll "week by week" and its definitely something I really miss. I was thinking maybe there's a setting that allows this scrolling, but found nothing. Its a little disturbing me, especially because the "week" buttons are there -- yet don't seem to work for me. Are other people having similar behaviour or is there something wrong with my setup somewhere? Thank you very much for your time! I don't want to stop using KOrganiser, been using it for so long it's great! But that one weekly scrolling is something I really miss! |

I have been able to confirm on KDE Trunk that the functionality you have described is not present (ie. when it crosses over month boundaries it moves to that month).
You might want to file a feature request at bugs.kde.org.
