oh yeah¡¡¡ great apps...but for me only disturbing, i try unselect in system pref...but no work, nepomuk all time invades my desktop with the alert message is disabled nepomuk alert¡¡¡. I try to uninstall but is not possible, some apps use only nepomuk.
there is a way for free down to nepomuk and another apps with big and much bug???...
i think i return to kde 3...more than two years and kde4 is not a stable desktop. i try for some week kde4 dont crash...hehehe i have .kde folder copy to another place for dont lost my config, so long the way for config desktop free to n+1 bug...Even the application for failure to report is flawed...
when will kde4 stable desk???...for the moment i try to free down some apps so annoying.

Why akonadi run these resources when nepomuk is turned off? It shouldn't do that at all, so I think the more correct way to fix this problem is to check if nepomuk is enabled and launched before run akonadi nepomuk-* resources.

Oh God, please, make Nepomuk entirely optional. It, and Akonadi, are so terrible. So, so terrible. They get in your way. I search emails maybe once every other day. I don't need search functionality pestering me all of the time!

evident, the bug is not solved...just like so much another bug.

this good way for lost kde user...what the matter, kde team in last time made good job and just when kde 4 this big job turned a bad job.

this a so bad notice for me, i like kde, i use kde3 all time my lovely opensuse offer repo, and change desktop when kde3 lost.

more than 2 years remaining for a kde4 stable version...and for this way some years more.

Notifications have been removed in versions starting from KDEPIM 4.8, IIRC. What version of KDEPIM are you using? From your description (a little vague) it looks like 4.7.
