Hi all,
I had to reinstall Fedora 17 (fresh install, not upgrade), but preserving /home. All previous settings are ok, except Korganiser and all around kdepim (Kmail,etc.). When I run Kmail or Korganizer I get a red cross with "service PIM is not operational." When I run 'yum install kdepim', system reply "Package 7: kdepim-4.9.1-1.fc17.x86_64 is already installed in its latest version." Ditto for "The package akonadi-1.8.0-1.fc17.x86_64 is already installed in its latest version." I suspect a problem related to the config files previously existing in my Home Directory, but I do not know how to solve this problem. Thank you in advance for your help ![]() |

There should be a button called "Details" when you get that the system is not operational. Pushing there will get you a list of what's wrong. Can you post it there?

I don't see anything suspicious there... does the system work after the restart?
