Hello!

Using KDE 4.9.2 (Kubuntu 12.10 64bit) I cannot move a task I created to another calendar. I have a lot of tasks at hand and like to split them to "privat" and "work-related". I understand that I can use categories, but I prefer to move them to another calendar file. When I click a task to edit I get a dropdown list on top that says "calendar" but it's greyed out! I checked the resource settings - nothing is set to "read only".

How can I move one (or better more than one at once!) items to another calendar?

Thx for reading,

I'm not sure this is actually possible, but I'll try to poke the involved people.

Hi,

it is not possible to change the calender entry in the edit-Dialogue, but I found a little work-around. You may move the respective entry by drag and drop to the calender list on the left side. This won't allow you to drop it, but when you drop it back to the calendar, you can now select a calendar.

Sincerely,
Robby.

In the calendar: you can cut and paste.
In the TO-DO list: you can copy to, or cut and paste.

PS: I apologize for my English.

Hello,

according to this bug [1] there should be functionality to move events/tasks between calendars. But in 4.8.5 I cannot find it. The workaround works great. Thanks!

I am using Korganizer 5.4.3 To change the calendar of an event it is necessary to copy it like this: [Ctrl] drag (copy) an event from the Day, Week or Agenda View to the Date Navigator (calendar shown in upper left portion of the window). There will appear a list of calendars to select from,
