Running Kubuntu 12.10, with KDE SC 4.9.3

I have currently configured my egroupware (GroupDAV) account through
Kontact -> Settings -> Configure Calendar -> General -> Calendars.
In Kontact -> Contacts all my groupdav contacts show up.

When composing new emails in kmail2, I get suggestions during typing for the address from the list that can be seen by choosing
Configure Kmail -> Composer -> General -> Edit Recent Addresses

I also put the egroupware address book as first in Completion Order.
In kmail2 I can still use the "Select" next to the recipient entry field to access the egroupware addressbook, but I would like to have all of them proposed to me while typing.

Can this be achieved?

Edit: Here it is stated that 4.9 should have it viewtopic.php?f=215&t=100742

I saw completion with local contacts, but I didn't try other sources like you mention.

Partially working, but very slow

I am not sure if it's because of the most recent update. I get suggestions from the groupdav source, but I have to wait quite some seconds before they show up (after typing initial letters). So it seems there is no caching.

That's a good sign, though, and I'm waiting for tweaked response in future updates.

Edit: There is one issue. I start typing, and the previous addresses get suggested (and the pop up box is, lets say, two lines high). Then after some processing the groupdav addresses get added, but the popup size doesn't increase. So it might not be noticeable that the addresses get suggested.
