Hi

I have a problem with kmail filtering. Message are not filtered by text in message body. Specified text is not found.
Search by message headers works fine.

Now I use KDE 4.9.2 but I didn't use this feature previously on another versions of KDE

Can you try updating to 4.9.3 and see if the problem persists?

I didn't try yet 4.9.3 but for 4.9.2 I found following.

Messages are filtered by body only if "Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit".
If message contains non-latin characters it has "Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64" and is not filtered.

But search for such messages works fine.

Today I upgraded KDE to 4.9.3. The problem still persists.

Please open a bug on bugs.kde.org. Don't forget to add a simple test case (a "fake" email message that exhibits the problem) to the report.
