Hi,
I attached a file in Kontakt to an event. After synchronization with Google the file was gone. Is it a bug, or is it simply not possible, because Google lacks that feature? regards Harald |

Unfortunately this feature is not supported by Google, so we can't store the files.

o.k., that's what I thought. Now, there are 3 ways I could think of to improve this then.
1 Deactivate this function, if the calender uses google resource, or at leas show a warning. 2 Don't delete the attachment locally after sync and show a warning, that it would not sync. 3 Store it in Google Drive and set a link in the event. I don't know if any of this would be possible, just my 2ct. regards, Harald |

No way how to do this ![]() Akonadi is just a cache, which can get cleared and re-fetched at any time -> no way to persistently preserve the files. That is a cool idea, Google Drive support for libkgapi is under development, so when it's done we could try to do this Anyway, I created https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=310921, CC yourself if you want to track changes ![]()
