I've just migrated to kmail2 - all went well, but sent mail is now being delivered to a local folder rather than to sent-mail.

Renaming that folder doesn't help

I think this problem is related to filtering, as I think it started after I created a few filters.

I've deleted all my filters but the problem persists. I couldn't identify if there is a hidden file that need to be deleted

SOLVED

I finally found the answer in a 2003 post elsewhere

Settings -> Configure KMail -> Identities -> Modify the mail account -> Advanced tab -> Sent-mail -> choose folder

I also checked "drafts" and "templates" and found that they had been changed too

Only two of my four identities were affected

Still not sure of the reason it happened, unless there's a short cut that I invoked by acciden)
