When sending out a text email using Kmail, the carriage returns tags in the text are not retained.
The text is being edited by a TextBox element before it is passed to Kmail. 1) If carriage returns are added in the TextBox when composing the text, the email resulting email received after Kmail sends it, may or may not have the carriage returns in it. 2) If the recipient of the email replies to the email and sends the email back, the original text which was sent from Kmail, looses its carriage returns. Any way an option on Kmail can be set to make sure that the text does not loose its carriage returns ? Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Mips ![]() |

It may be a bug. Do you have a simple test case to reproduce the problem? If so it may be worth to report to bugs.kde.org.

It might not be a bug in the Kmail per say. It might have to do with setting the text correctly before passing it to Kmail. That is where I need help if there are any requirements for that text ?
Thanks, Mips. |
