Hello group -
I'm running Kontact/Kamil on ubuntu 12.10, in the simplest possible implementation (one Pop3 acct), and it seems to be working. At one time I believe the Kmail message list defaulted to an appearance that included horizontal stripes. That seems to be gone in my case and I'm not sure how to get that back. It still installs that way because I did a fresh install on my wife's ubuntu 12.10 machine and that's how it appears. It's completely possible I messed with a setting and now can't figure out how to go back. Thanks in advance. Reid |

I'm not using a recent KMail, but I would think that most of the hints and tips regarding configuration that are on UserBase would still be valid.
http://userbase.kde.org/KMail/FAQs_Hints_and_Tips#Remove_Alternate_Line_colourings tells you how to remove the line colourings, so it should be easy to simply reverse. There are other tips on the same page that may be helpful in getting things back to the way you like them. ![]()
