Can't delete some old Collections

Sun Feb 10, 2013 10:42 pm
Hello,

for updating to KDE 4.10 i renamed my old .kde4 Folder, to start with a new clean one.
After the update i readded the Collections. But it looks like that Akonadi can remind on the old Collections. So the old Collections aren't visible in the Akonadi-Ressource Manager, but visible in Kontact Calendar,
I've checked that with akonadiconsole. There are listed the old and the new Collections, If i'm marking one Folder there i can't delete it with the Contextmenu.

I'm using openSUSE 12.2 and the Standardsetting with intern mysqld Server.

Greetings
Sascha

Akonadi stores its settings elsewhere (it's a pure Qt app), that's why you're still seeing the collections.

There's no official way, but wiping .local/share/akonadi might do the trick (notice: operation unsupported by KDEPIM developers). Notice that it will totally kill the database.
