After a long period of Kmail2 being unusable I see progress now - it seems to be more stable and it doesn't delete my mailbodies anymore.
But before I can really use it again with my mail archives i need to filter out all the empty Mails that have been created before. Those mails have a complete mail header - just the whole mail body is completely empty. I tried to find a way to filter these but I don't get abny filter setting to work. I tried "mail size is 0 kb" but obviously the mail has some size cause it has a header, right? (Actually I am not sure how this is defined) Is there any solution to clean my mail archive of the empty mail body mails? I am stuck. Thx for reading, piedro |

A somewhat crude solution may be sorting by size (Right click on the header of the message view, tick "Size" to make it appear).

thx for your response, but I can sort by size but the options only allow me to make the columns "message" and "status" visible, I find no way to change that.
Still messages without body seem to some times have a bigger size than messages with short text. So this doesn't work reliably. p. |
