Hi,
Is there a way to force KMail to accept message background settings? I'm fully aware that background is used to indicate encryption/signature status, as per https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117428 but this behavior is making about 75% of e-mails I'm receiving unreadable. |

What version of KMail are you using? And can you describe a bit more in detail or add a screenshot of why a large amount of the mails become unreadable?

Qt: 4.8.3
KDE: 4.10.2 KMail: 4.10.2 I'm using dark grey color scheme with almost white text so everything that was prepared for white backgrounds often looks at least strange. But staying in the topic of e-mails, here is a sample mail, which is constructed correctly (body background set to 'white', font color set to 'black') KMail has ignored message style and in the end message background is picked from system settings and also most of the message text has color taken from system settings. Most of my 'unreadable' mails are internal company mails so I won't share them here, however it's the same issue there: dark grey text on dark grey background... |

this could explain a similar problem I get - if I reply to HTML mail "in HTML" and try to insert text in the quoted area(s) what I write becomes black on black....
