Hi all,
Since 4.10.1 I'm experiencing big troubles with kmail and some other objects. I've googled around but to no avail, so I'm asking here. References: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319527 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318093 https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=465052 all details are reported in bugs above, but I'd like to dig a bit more into this issue ao I need some help. Basically, my installation is a gentoo so all packages are compiled, but without any exotic setup or options. (afaik) since 4.10.1, kmail stopped working: it simply does not opens any window but eats 100% cpu. If I launch it thru dbus-launch, I get the kdewallet popup, but after that the behaviour is the same. Trying to understand what's going on, I fired up akonadiconsole and guess what: same behaviour: no windows, only akonadiconsole process eating 100% cpu. I've also created a new user from scratch, same behaviour with all defaults untouched. right now i have kde 4.10.3 qt 4.8.4 gcc (Gentoo 4.7.2-r1 p1.5, pie-0.5.5) 4.7.2 Of course I can provide all straces, logs and whatever as I already done in bugs above, just let me know what data can be more useful so to avoid cluttering of this topic. |
