Hey there,

I am able to send unlimited text messages (SMS) from my mobile phone. Unfortunately typing them is not the most comfortable way. As long as I am using my laptop, I would like to be able to send them from there via my mobile phone. When I am in a trusted wireless network, I use Airdroid on my Android phone to archive this. But Airdroid is no or not such as good option if I am not in a trusted wireless network, because using it via mobile data is rather slow and also eats up my montlhy data amount I have. There also moments where mobile data is too slow to work at all.

So I wonder if there are other methods to archive e.g. via bluetooth (preferable) or via an usb cable connected to my mobile phone? Any idea, if this is achievable at all, if there are exiting solutions around? Preferable they should be easy to handle, otherwise just writing the message on the mobile would be faster :-*

There used to be something, but way before the current smartphone era. I'm not sure anything of the sort is available now, though.
