I just imported my Opera eMails to KMail, it works. But unfortunately I didn't found any way to set the new Folders under the Local Folder to read-only. So I prefer to set a Mbox-File as data source.
But how to remove the imported messages entirely? If I use remove on the folders in KMail, will the indexes in akanodi also be removed - will the disk-space be cleared? Or is it a better way to remove the folders under ~/.local/share/.local-mail.directory/ where my messages are stored? |

You should remove them directly from KMail, as this will automatically clear the references inside Akonadi for you.

Thanks a lot!
![]() Unfortunately three 4 account-folders are left under .local/share/.local-mail.directory/ And there are 14 up to 3946 Elements in the new-folders. I'm waiting 10 minutes now and don't think there will be any change because bigger accounts are already deleted via KMail. Should I delete the folders under ~/.local/share/.local-mail.directory/ manually or ignore them? |

I would suggest to ignore them for now unless they give you trouble.
