HTML eMails from trusted senders

Thu Jun 20, 2013 10:00 am
Everyday I get eMails from trusted senders, e.g. Spam-notifications, that are better readable in HTML. How can I configure KMail to display them in HTML-Mode? Now I use the HTML-bar but this is not comfortable.

I thought it works to move them in a special folder but failed to change the display-mode of this folder.

I'm not sure HTML settings are per-folder. I know you can set HTML properties per contacts in the address book but I'm not sure if they affect receiving (from the looks of it, they're related to sending).

This morning I suddenly found it: first mark the folder, than folder-menu > give HTML preferences (sorry, German GUI) and after a warning, every message in this folder is shown as HTML. 8) Sometimes you need a new look to something. ;)

Interesting. I only found very limited options for the contacts: LDAP-options and action-options. But I never send HTML-eMails - HTML-eMails are needless and annoying to me.

Thanks for your help!
