I use kontact 4.10.3 on OpenSuse and I miss an option I had in previous KDE versions: I want to filter emails solely on the account through which they are received.


There is an filter-by-account section in the extended configuration dialogue, but I cannot make it work properly. So I tried to set a filter rule based only on an account and left the filter criteria in the main window empty - but it did not work. Then I set up a filter for all mails > 0 byte from that account, but this does only work for manual filtering, not for incoming email.

Do you have any suggestions?

There is an option in the account settings to set "destination folder", normally set to inbox of Local Folders (that is on POP3 accounts). I have set one filter to use "sent to @domaininquestion.org" and filter on that. Blunt perhaps but it works
