Hi!

This is probably a very simply misconfiguration but I don't find any clue:

When I want to Knotes I write a note within KDE Kontact but the notes do not show on my desktop.

What is the correct configuration to use as sticky notes on the desktop?

Run knotes and click on it's icon in the system tray.
You should then get a list of all your notes, open the ones you want to have.

The ones you leave open should be opened again on next start...

Thx for your help. But the thing is that I don't have the icon in the system tray and I don't know how to get it.

Stupid me! I haven't got that knotes has to be launched outside of Kontact! All the other Kontact apps have their complete funcionality integrated in Kontact, knotes doesn't ... well, it's working now, ,
