Hi all,
I'm using kmail 4.10.5. I configured it to get mail from imap mail server (dovecot). I also upagraded my kubuntu to 13.04 version and I used the previous configuration of kmail and I can see all mail, folder and subfolder. My issue, now, is that if I try to create a new folder at the top level of my imap user account after to do it I cannot see the folder. However, I can see the new folder on my imap server.... I tried to rename .kde/share/apps/kmail folder in order to recreate kamil configuration.... but after to have moved the folder and opened kmail I still to see my old imap account... Have you any idea??? Kind ragards |

This is usually an issue in which KDE PIM can't map its own folders to the structure that is on the IMAP server (nowadays it occurs very rarely). Can you check ~/.xsession-errors to see if you have errors about IDs?

Hi einar,
from .xsession-error, when I try to create a folder on kmail I see the below message:
As test, I tried to create the astore folder. Kind regards |

That is the issue I expected: try following advice from this thread and see if it solves the problem.

DId you try to issue those SQL commands reported in the thread? Those fixed the issue completely when it occured to me a while ago.

Right, that was a different bug. Currently the issue is known and IIRC even investigated, but no solution was found.
