Somehow, after the upgrade from KDE 4.10 to 4.11.1, my calendars were lost. I have a backup of my home directory from before this upgrade, but I do not want to restore Kontact altogether to its state from before the upgrade, because I would lose more than I would gain. But is there some way I can just recover my calendars? Where are they stored? I am running Kubuntu 13.04.

What types of calendars are you using?

My calendars were exported from Thunderbird/Lightning as .ics files and imported into Kontact.

Are the calendars not even showing in the KOrganizer main window? Or, do they show but no events are displayed?

No, the calendars don't appear at all in the Calendar view of Kontact, although they worked just fine before the KDE 4.11 upgrade.

Can you check under .local/share/akonadi to see if the ics files are there?
