Hi all,
first-poster here so bear with me. ![]() Anyway, I have been having an issue with Nepomuk file(?) indexer for some time now. IIRC the problem came with KDE 4.11 and is still present in 4.11.1, which I use now. The problem is that Nepomuk keeps spamming .xsession-errors with messages like this one:
or
When I say "spamming", I really mean it -- the log can grow to gigabytes in a few days. I have no idea where it takes those values. I might be able to track down the erroneous file but I have no idea where to start looking or how to use the resource ID's to find out what's behind them. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, guys! ![]() |

This seems to be a bug in Nepomuk.
With 4.11.2 the error message spamming has been fixed. However, we should still fix the faulty indexer. It would be great if you could locate the faulty file via -
I got the 'nepomuk:/res/fadfasdfasdf' from your output. That is the unique identifier for that file stored in Nepomuk. 'nepomukshow' will output all the data that it knows about the file. In that there will be the url of the file. Please file a bug on bugs.kde.org and upload that file. If we can reproduce the problem then it will be fixed with the next point release.
