I archived a Kmail folder (in zip format), and the zip file created has a size of about 45 MB. However, when I unzip the archive, the folder created appears to have no messages, that is, its cur, new, and tmp subfolders are empty. Yet, if I simply double-click on the zip file to browse its contents, all the expected messages are there. What can I do to get around this?

Can you check if there are hidden directories?
