Does Akonadi start if you remove the old error logs? Also it says that the D-Bus session is going down: are other bits of KDE software working normally?

I think that this happened after i added a filter in kmail
I deleted the filter and i reboot, i dont have the problem akonadi works now

May be is the place that kmail creates the filter the problem ?

It looks like some database corruption, to be honest (perhaps triggered by the filter). Next time it occurs, try "akonadictl fsck" to see if the problem can be auto-repaired.

Re: Akonadi does nt start

Fri Oct 18, 2013 2:54 pm
I think that i use mariadb:

[dglent@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa | grep maria
mariadb-core-5.5.33a-1.mga3
mariadb-common-5.5.33a-1.mga3
lib64mariadb18-5.5.33a-1.mga3
mariadb-5.5.33a-1.mga3
mariadb-common-core-5.5.33a-1.mga3
mariadb-client-5.5.33a-1.mga3
mariadb-extra-5.5.33a-1.mga3
[dglent@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa | grep mysql
qt4-database-plugin-mysql-4.8.5-1.2.mga3

Now it works, i did nt change anything though

I will try to uninstall mariadb and install mysql instead.
Only mariadb is available in my system (Mageia 3
