Nepomuk problem

Sun Nov 03, 2013 11:44 am
Hi!

I have a problem to start Desktop search on KDE 4.11.2, OS is FreeBSD. Looks like that Nepomuk doesn;t start. In Akonadi Console shows:

Identifier: akonadi_nepomuk_feeder
Type: Akonadi Nepomuk Feeder
Status: Offline, Broken
Status Message: Waiting for the Nepomuk to start
Capabilities: Unique, Autostart
Mimetypes: text/directory

If I restart nothing happened.

Thank you.

Just to confirm, you selected "restart agent" in akonadiconsole? What happens if you toggle it offline, then online (see other options in the same context menu)?

Nepomukserver, nepomukstorage crashed. I got *.core all the time. I sent a bactrace to our maintainer/developer and we will see.

Thank you.

We didn't find a problem...I hope yet :).
Now I don't have any core files (I am running KDE 4.11.3) but it doesn't work still.
When I select "restart agent" in akonadiconsole nothing happened.

Any useful messages in ~/.xsession-errors?

No, there are no .xsessions-errors.
I have in /usr/local/kde4/includenepomuk and /usr/local/kde4/includenepomuk2. The first one is from kdelibs4 and the other from nepomuk-core port. But many files in directories are the same. I don't know if is okay or not.

It's ok, Nepomuk was split off from the KDE libraries (the "2"), but for compatibility an older copy was kept in the KDE Development Platform (the one without the "2").
