Hi!
I have a problem to start Desktop search on KDE 4.11.2, OS is FreeBSD. Looks like that Nepomuk doesn;t start. In Akonadi Console shows: Identifier: akonadi_nepomuk_feeder Type: Akonadi Nepomuk Feeder Status: Offline, Broken Status Message: Waiting for the Nepomuk to start Capabilities: Unique, Autostart Mimetypes: text/directory If I restart nothing happened. Thank you. |

Just to confirm, you selected "restart agent" in akonadiconsole? What happens if you toggle it offline, then online (see other options in the same context menu)?

Nepomukserver, nepomukstorage crashed. I got *.core all the time. I sent a bactrace to our maintainer/developer and we will see. Thank you. |

We didn't find a problem...I hope yet
![]() Now I don't have any core files (I am running KDE 4.11.3) but it doesn't work still. When I select "restart agent" in akonadiconsole nothing happened. |

Any useful messages in ~/.xsession-errors?

No, there are no .xsessions-errors. I have in /usr/local/kde4/includenepomuk and /usr/local/kde4/includenepomuk2. The first one is from kdelibs4 and the other from nepomuk-core port. But many files in directories are the same. I don't know if is okay or not. |

It's ok, Nepomuk was split off from the KDE libraries (the "2"), but for compatibility an older copy was kept in the KDE Development Platform (the one without the "2").
