I'm having some sort of problem with my old profile, so I created a new one and I'm trying to import messages from the old profile to my new one...
Using Kmailcvt, I select
I navigate to my old profile, into
and I get a pop up box that says:
I've had some issues and 'repaired' some files using fsck...any ideas?

Can you give more specific information? Did you have issues at the filesystem level? Which version of KMail are you using for importing, and which are you taking messages from?

I have had problems with Kmail2, and I always identified it with Akonadi or something...some emails would cause Kmail to hang forever...
...but recently I began having problems on startup...I ran fsck once, a while ago, but in the last month I've had to run it every time I turn on the computer... It recently said that it changed my filesystem from ext3 to ext2 and now I can't log into my old profile at all... I need to recover my files, starting with my email...but I'm at a loss at what to do next...I'm in my new profile, which is completely empty, but seems to work... What other information can I provide to help? |

I can see my folders in terminal...
...what is the file that contains all my emails (and where is it)?
