Hi,
whenever I suspend my laptop, the next boot after that akonadi keeps on multiplying my emails in local folders 17 times - one message read and the rest unread. This occurs every time I move a message to a local folder, e.g. move from inbox into another folder or sending an email (which will create 17 instances in the outbox and send one of them). While I can certainly clean up the mails using the duplicate mail remover, this behaviour is annoying and it takes some time to recover. When I restart the akonadi server from the control panel, it works all fine - however, the duplicate email behaviour will reappear on next reboot. Any idea where this might come from? I am running KDE 4.11.3 on Kubuntu 13.10 Thanks! Benni |

If you use a filter to move those messages, try:
There was a time that kmail moved messages correctly. But suddenly moving did not only move, but kept the original in place. And later on, moving worked again. And after a while, another update, same problem. So I don't change the filters anymore. No more moving, but copy and delete. You may also think about an update to kde-4.12.0 as that is the latest stable release. It is not very useful to complain about old kde versions ![]() And other bugs are introduced..
