Default single folder to inline view!

OK, here we go. I have one folder in KMail that my security system sends emails to including images, sometimes 6 or more images in an email. Is there anyway to default just this one folder to inline view for these emails? I already have HTML as a preference but that does NOT show these images in the inline view. All of these images have the .jpg extension.
If there is no way to do this, then perhaps it should be a feature request to make life easier not only for me but for all others that have a security system that emails captured images on movement like a good security system should. ???

I don't tihnk this is actually possible at the moment. I would suggest you file a wishlist report on bugs.kde.org.

Thanks for the advice.
I have done as suggested and hope the Devs find this new feature to be worth the time and effort to implement. I believe many users would appreciate this functionality. Many of my friends that have similar security systems that send images along with the alarm messages would greatly appreciate it and would even convince them to move to KDE and Kmail as their email client. Most of them can NOT even view these attachments inline like Kmail allows. They actually have to save them to disk and view them individually.
Again thanks for your advise. I didn't know where to go to put this great feature into a wish list for the Devs to consider or if it maybe already integrated into Kmail and just didn't know where to turn it on.
8-) 8-)

Thanks
Jake

Here's the response from the dev:
I will not add this feature because it's not easy for user to understand that there is a global settings and a local, and he will not understand that it changes global but it doesn't change local. For me a global settings is enough.

=========================

Now I want to know what the community says at large about having this capability? Especially since every folder in kmail already has its own properties page where you can override the global setting that is claimed would be to confusing for users to understand!

Here's a link to the bug report so that all can chime in on what could be a great feature to all!

If you get email like I do you do NOT want to enable inline view for all folders since not all email is trustworthy to be viewed in that manner. Being able to view inline on chosen folders would make life easier for many of us since known trusted senders can be put into a separate folder and redirected to that folder saving time and hundreds of click throughs to view those emails!

I agree with you actually - if it is not difficult for the devs I do not see why? Those who want to use it will find it useful, others will not care. I might set folders from a certain business account that (at least in theory) should be 100 safe mail

Would you please goto the bug report/request I made and chime in so the devs see it. If enough people chime in on this subject maybe it will change their minds to add this great feature. :)

«he will not understand that it changes global but it doesn't change local. For me a global settings is enough.»

Wow, that's a practical definition of despise :-\
That developer not only considers us users imbeciles who can't understand and distinguish two concepts, but also doesn't even consider worth it trying to understand other users' needs because for him what we have now «is enough». :|
And then you go and try to convince your "windowist" friends that legends about unfriendliness of Linux world are just a myth...

Sorry you got that answer, your idea of a trusted folder was good.
