I have a tri-boot laptop with windows opensuse 12.3 and 13.1, and I would like to share contacts in kaddressbook among the three systems, usually to do this kind of things I move the folder or file where data is stored in a common place and make a link where it is usually stored by the software.
I searched in /home/user/.kde4/share/apps/kontact/ and /kaddressbook in /home/user/.kde4/share/apps/kaddressbook/csv-templates/ I suppose there are templates that I saved, but the phone numbers don't seem to be in any of the above folders. where the data are (phone numbers, names, surnames, etc.) ?? so I can share them among the system?? manythanks, ![]() ![]()

note: location will depend on type of address book used
location should be shown with Kontact -> contacts -> right click address book(s) -> address book properties a better question might be what is the best type of address book to use when sharing between systems |

sorry but not familiar enough with the options to give an opinion of the best format for you needs (as there won't be concurrent access it might not matter), suggest you open a new thread

If you have access to a CalDAV / CardDAV server, it is the best option (open protocol), otherwise you could use Google's services. In the latter case, if something does not work please post a separate thread detailing your issue.
