on my opensuse 13.1 and Kontact Version 4.11.5 if in contacts/kaddressbook I rightclick>add address book>google contacts it doesn't works, nothing is produced, anything happen.

Can you check ~/.xsession-errors for errors? Do you have the package "libkgapi2" installed (or equivalent, depending on your distribution)?

I launched akonadictl restart, opened kaddressbook, tried to add google contacts, and no errors popped up from the konsole, just something related to kwallet service...

It appears that your KWallet is disabled, and the Google Contacts resource cannot work without it. It is correctly started, but gets stuck on trying to open KWallet. Please enable KWallet and restart Akonadi again. This time you should be able to add Google Contacts resource just fine.

manythanx, ok, it works now , but I don't like wallet and automatic password management, is there any way to have a google account in kaddressbook without kwallet???

Not at this point. But Google resources don't store your username and password in KWallet, they only store OAuth tokens. There is a new framework for accounts configuration coming to KDE in 4.13, that should make Google resources usable without KWallet.

Hi, I have a problem too adding google contacts to kaddressbook:

In Akonadi console, everythings seems ok but when I try to add the google contacts, it seems that nothing happens. The progress bar stays at 0% and nothing more.

I tried akonadictl restart and have this message below. Have anyone an idea??
