Hello all, I'm trying to point Korganizer/Kontact to a CalDav server and noticed that when i do so I see high CPU usage on both the server and client and it appears that the WebDav resource in Korganizer/Kontact is constantly querying the server even if i am not doing anything. Should it not sync initially then only make updates if I change an event?

Top give some background, I went away from korganizer a couple years ago after not being satisfied with any of the sync tools then to Google Calendar/Android and was stuck using Google calendar. Now I've found out about CalDav and it seems I can run my own CalDav server to get around Google's limitations but an now trying to get Korganizer to use my CalDav resource. Everything seems fine and it connects and starts the initial download which should take a while since I'm testing with a large calendar and eventually displays the calendar. But even if I don't move forward or backward or edit i see constant activity on my server logs. How often should it sync and can i control the interval?

You can set the period of checking by right clicking on the calendar and selecting "Folder properties". Try adjusting the time and see if the situation improves.
