Hello everyone,
new member to the forum but I've been using KDE for some time. I have a problem with Kmail and Gmail. It refuses to send emails to the trash. Every time Kmail frefreshes the inbox it returns all deleted emails back into my inbox which is getting very frustrating. I've even used the Gmail web interface to delete all unwanted emails from the server (I think) and it still returns those emails back into my inbox. I've used Kmail in the past without problems and I love the integration with the desktop but if I cant get this fixed I will be forced to use some other email client. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks. |

What version of KMail and KDE PIM are you using, and on which distribution?

I am using Arch linux with kernel 3.13.5-1 and probably the most current version of the KDE desktop. I'm not on that computer yet so I cant verify the exact version but this issue can be marked resolved. I had the wrong trash folder selected in the configuration. Once I selected the folder on my system drive the problem went away and emails stay deleted. Thanks anyway.
