KDE 4.12.2 on Arch.
Hello, everytime I quit Kmail it forgets all settings related to the columns in the message list view. That is ordering of columns and width of columns. it's a very fresh installation, so no old config cruft lying around. I already tried to delete kmail2rc in .kde, but it changed nothing. Thx! |

I see this on some machines, and not on others. I'm puzzled on the cause.

Yeah, it really sucks. I like to have the Important column on the very left, so it's in my view, but kmail moves it to the very right after a restart. Do you think there is any use taking this bug to the kmail mailing list and dive into that with the developers?
Best Regards! |

First of all, open a bug report if there isn't one so tracking is kept for this issue. Secondly, if you want to dive and see what is wrong, you may ask indeed the PIM mailing list for assistance.

There is an old bug dating back to KMail 3: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=187217
And a newer one: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328139 |
