Hi everyone,

I'm sorry if the subject have already been posted, didn't find it.

I have in fact 2 issues :
The first one is that I want to synchronize a new calendar with KOrganizer, by following this tutorial : http://userbase.kde.org/Working_with_Google_Calendar , but yet, I don't have the "agenda" icon under General settings : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/201 ... pshot3.png
Then, I don't know how to add my gmail calendar. Do you have a clue?

The second one is that I configured well KMail to work with GMail, by following this tutorial : http://userbase.kde.org/Working_with_GMail , but I have this error message :
http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/201 ... pshot4.png
My config info : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/201 ... pshot5.png
http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/201 ... pshot6.png

Some informations are hidden, but I have filled them of course.
It is weird because I can receive mails, but not send ones...

If you can help me...

Thanks !

Try changing the SMTP server to smtp.googlemail.com. Alternatively, try using any of the servers listed in GMail's official help pages.

Regarding Google Calendar, did you read the warning at the top of the page? These instructions are no longer needed assuming you have a relatively recent PIM version (on what version are you on?)

Hi !

Thank you for your reply. By using smtp.googlemail.com and some manipulations, it worked !

But for the google calendar, I read the instructions, but still, I don't have any "agenda" button under Settings>General...
I think the version of KDE I have is 4.4.11 (I'm on Debian Wheezy).

Then the instructions on that page may or may not work (I'm guessing the latter) because the PIM version shipped by Debian Wheezy is quite old.
