Hello,
is it possible to use contact groups created in KAddressBock in Kmail2? I have created a contact group in the "Personal Contacts" folder in KAddressBook and when I enter the group name in the "To" field of the e-mail composer the group doesn't get expanded. I think this was possible in an older version (I'm running 4.13.0 of the KDE platform). Am I missing something or is this currently broken? Regards Martin |

This may be a regression due to the port to the new search infrastructure (completion was also affected). Do you mind opening an issue at bugs.kde.org and posting the link back here?

I already suspected that this could be related to the latest changes but I wanted to be sure that this feature really doesn't work before I post a bug report. I have posted a bug report here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334794

Would you mind pointing your bug to this old bug "resolved fixed" that has fresh comments from a few of us since 4.13.0:

A workaround exists (at least it works for me):
Workaround: use "select" in composer window, expand your dist-list/group in question, select all recepients and add/cc/bcc them. Then it works |

I think someone should reopen bug report 223034 because the problem still exists/exists again.
