akanodi as root

Thu May 22, 2014 5:27 pm
Friends, :)

I am aware of all the risks, but still want and need to use the akanodi as root, I have lots of notes in my knotes the root profile and after upgrading to version 4.13.1'm forced to migrate in knotes.

If there is another way to recover the information in knotes I thank you.

Use Slackware64-current.

You can copy your ~/.kde4 directory to a new (!) non-root user account and change the permissions, maybe.

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

You will also need to copy over the Akonadi config (~/.config/akonadi) and the databases (~/.local/share/akonadi).
