Hi,

since the update from Kubuntu 13.10 to 14.04 I have a problem with Kontact / KMail.
When I write a new e-mail and I try to type in the recipient I will get every character the error massage

We can not add more recipients. We have reached maximum recipients

After the update from Kubuntu 13.10 to 14.04 an the first start from Kontact I get the massage that Kontakt will convert the Database.
Maybe there is something wrong.

On the same Computer I have a second user (my wife). On here account Kontact works fine.

Any ideas to solve my problem?

greetings

The default number of allowed recipients may be too low. Go to Configure KMail > Composer and check the Recipients section.

Hi, thank you for help, but in the meanwhile I have solved my problem.

I saved all my mails and contacts and delete all Kontact settings. After this setup Kontact new and import the emails and addresses. Now it works.
