Hi,
I'm running Kubuntu 14.04, all up to date, and for some reason the KMail Handbook (and some others) aren't installed in the help center. I get the message 'Could not find filename intro.html in file:///usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en//kmail/intro.html.' even though there is a intro.docbook in the appropriate place - notice the extra slashes. How do I either fix the path in the HelpCenter, or download and install the handbook from KDEDocs? Thanks! Tom |

This needs input from someone knowledgeable with documentation. I'll try to find someone who knows more about the area.

I'm also interested in how to change the index or whatever in the KDE HelpCenter. While, I'm on Kubuntu 12.04 and not 14.04, I have the exact same issue with the KMyMoney handbook as he had with KMail: "Could not find filename introduction.html in file:///usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en//kmymoney/introduction.html". Like Tom, I see the spurious "//" in the path. Normally, a package without documentation installed shows the "Documentation not Found" page, not the path error like we're seeing. But KMyMoney does have docs installed, although also like Tom, it's docbook, not html.
I assume the path the Help Center is using is the problem, but there's no Help Center help in Help Center to find out how to fix the settings. (I can understand why there wouldn't be a KMail handbook at all ![]() |

I've just installed Kubuntu 16.04 with Kmail 5.13 [Using: KDE Frameworks 5.18.0 Qt 5.5.1 (built against 5.5.1) The xcb windowing system]
I selected Help>Kmail Handbook and got "Documentation not Found" Looking in Application Manuals>Office, I do find Kmail. Now niether [F1] nor "help" initiate any action. Do I need to update something? Thanks.
