my bad, as I don't use it I expected it to function like a std app, appears you can only limit it to specific desktops

Some window classes (dialogs) appear on all activities by default. I'm wondering if this is the case here.

You could create window rules that force the knotes notes windows to only show on a certain activity.
I cannot try with 4.13 at the moment, but this works fine with 4.11. See Systemsettings->Window Behavior->Window Rules. |

tested in 4.13 and worked for me |

seems strange that the activities and more actions options aren't available as options in title bar but can be manipulated thru systemsettings

As far as I see it, that's because those windows do not actually have a title bar, so of course you cannot get to the standard window menu by right-clicking on the title bar... But you can also force the window title bar to appear with a window rule. (4th tab "Appearance & Fixes"->"No titlebar and frame", force it to "No") ![]() |

true, but there are a couple of the window title bar rule options available by right clicking the name/title area such as: to desktop and keep above/below others - then why not to activities

I think those are added by knotes itself. So it is a missing feature of knotes, it is not at all aware that activities exist. |
