How to use IMAP IDLE with Kmail?

Tue Aug 12, 2014 4:07 am Is there an explicit way to enable IMAP IDLE in Kmail (if server supports it) or it's automatically used when "Enable interval mail checking" is checked off? Also, if if works, does it affect all folders or only Inbox? Thanks.
