Akonadi: New mail loop

Sat Sep 06, 2014 10:28 am
Hello,

I have two computers using ArchLinux with KDE 4.14.0, identically configures when it comes to Akonadi. If both computers are on and I am logged in, I always get into a, what I call new mail loop. (Kmail does not need to active).

I have a unread mail in one of my accounts. Akonadi on both machines reports this mail as new (and fires a notification) every 15 seconds or so. As soon as I shutdown one of the machines the loop stops. Any idea what can cause this and how to stop it?

IMAP server is a self hosted dovecot.

Thanks!

It looks like some kind of race. Would you be able to provide a bug report with enough details on your setup and configuration?

What would you like to have included in a bug report beside the information that is already in that thread here?

Provide a minimal test case (IOW, write detailed steps on how to trigger this issue) if possible.
